Right now I'm busy doing a "Texas Clock". Could be a couple of weeks before it's done because the clock fixture I have in a 3/4 fixture and I need a 1/2. But I see no reason why I can't get it painted. I'll post an update so you can see it. Possibly tomorrow. Right now I'm short on acrylic 'sequin black' that'll give the outside edge a nice 'burned' look, while the flat upfront version will be a guitar swirl of red, white and navy blue. Also, I LACK the numbers for the dial and the tapering pins are too long (you know, the little brass pins that point to the numbers). So my work is cut out for me.
This was a truly glorious morning that you have beautifully captured. I have seen this time of dawn here in the high country of the USA and I thank you for reminding me of the sights, sounds, and smells of newness that morning.
