Description

Finally the dawn ... The clouds are scrolling in the orange light of the morning ...
The fog has disappeared in the valley, revealing the river winding to the north through the mountains. There is few snow on the mountain sides, while behind me there is still more than a meter around the frozen lakes.

I like the variety of colors and the perspective of the landscape. The shot is quite sharp and manages to capture the feeling of the area.

The angle from which the shot was taken allows a good view upon the valley, which is at the same time the main focus point in the picture.

The light is good, as expected that early in the morning, and doesn't create extreme shadows or a burnt image.
The fog in the distance helps the viewer get a perspective of the shot and see its proportions.

I just find the light around the central mountain a bit peculiar, as it glows around the mountain. I'm not sure if this is a processing effect or happened naturally, but this is really the only thing I could correct here.

As a whole, I find this image to be a beautiful landscape, well framed and look forward to your next shots <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
