The north face of the Monte Perdido, in the spanish Pyrenees. The mountain was masked by the clouds during 3 days, revealing the glacier occasionally... It was really cold and there was a strong wind, the ambiance was very impressive. It reminded me the world of Tolkien, Arda, with the Middle Earth and the Undying Lands. This place could have been the abode of some ancient gods or giants dragons.

Wow, a new Daily Deviation ! Thank you so much, and thanks for all those comments
What you have captured here is extroadinary, to say the least. I am suprised the man-made camera was able to capture the immense brillience of God's creation. As for critiques: I looove the cloud "noise" effect!!! I think the coolest part of the whole shot though is right at the heart - that lit-up blue illuminated glacier slice.... The light hits the mountain below the cloud gathering, and illumination chuck to reveal the beauty of the mountain in the light of the sun. Gosh, awe-inspiring! I am particularly partial to blue, so definitely a little blurred to other small details. But, great job - great job INDEED!
